Downton Abbey Series 4 (Spoilers)

Downton Abbey Series 3
Now that Series 3 has ended and left us in an ocean of tears.  We are left wondering what is going to happen to Mary Crawley and her infant son. I'm dying to know where Downton Abbey will go from here after the absence of Dan Stevens and the lovely Jennifer Brown Findlay. Thank goodness, the show didn't stop from here.  Series 4 is being film and I am eager to see what happen next!

The Impossible: Movie Review 2013 (spoiler alert)

The Impossible 2013
Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona

The Impossible is a disaster movie based on a true story about a family who survived the horrendous tsunami that took place in Southeast Asia back in 2004.  It was directed by Spanish film director, Juan Antonio Bayona, who also directed "The Orphanage" (2007).  Much of the same crew from that movie had come together again to make this film possible. The cast stars Naomi Watts as Maria and Ewan Mcgregor as Henry with Tom Holland, who played Lucas.

As the outsider looking in, we don't know what really happened.  We will never know what it feels like to be there to witness the pain and loss. But Bayona was able to make more than just a family drama disaster film; he created this whole new perspective of this horrific time.We know the tsunami killed thousands of people and affected millions of people worldwide. Yet something so disastorous can bring a group of people or even a family closer together. I think Bayona was able to accomplished that as a film-maker, as he creates this emotionally devastating journey onto the screen for us to value what we have in our lives.

I saw the movie the week it came out and I'm very impressed on how Bayona was able to pull this off while being on a tight budget.  Instead of using CGI, Bayona used real water in which I thought was more effective and real than using computerized graphics. What also stood out to me was the cinematography. There was this scene at the end where Naomi's character, Maria,  was strapped in the airplace and while taking off, she's looking through the window and saw that the place they once vacationed in has been completely engulfed by the tsunami.  The place was unrecognizable and it is covered with nothing but debris that made it look like a land fill.  It was a horrific, overwhelming sight to see what the people had to go through and I'll leave you with this.  The movie is not about the drama, it's about the journey of love, hope, family and surviving the impossible.

Fans are the best !!!!! =)

(Sigh)  SO, today I found out a band called "Tickle Me Pink" is no longer making music as a band.  Ok, Now that really ruined my day because I LOVE that band.  They disbanded back in 2011 I think (i know i know i'm late!) and at that time I forgot all about them.  (Long story)

I remember when I found out about them on Youtube through Wind Up record's channel and one of their song really stuck out to me.  "Madeline"  that's a good song.  I remember when Myspace was the shit before Facebook or whatever you want to call it and I would post that video up on my status because I want my friends to know the band "Tickle Me Pink" exists!  That's how much I wanted to show people this GREAT band!  And their music!  I even planned on to buy their cd at that time but for some reason I never did.  (GUILTTYYY!!!)  And I feel kinda bad because I feel as though they weren't getting nowhere as a band and they weren't as out in the open as other bands are.  I didn't hear their music on the radio ever and there's not a lot of interviews from that band.  (sigh)  But THERE ARE other reasons why, you know, an artist would quit what they're doing probably because of personal reasons and blah blah blah.

Ok, let me set this straight, If YOU have a favorite underrated band or artists, you're gonna have to get their stuff out there and help support them and give them the attention that they need.  If you don't, they would go nowhere and to them it'll be like "What's the point on continuing on when there's nothing there left to prove when we're in the same spot all the time?" It's almost as if you're giving them a reason to continue on.

I believe fans are the reasons why celebrities or artists are surrounded by paparazzis all the time and are doing interviews from left to right.  If no one cared, they wouldn't be as famous as they are now.  Idk what do you think?  I'm just saying.

Check out their wonderful music video!!!!

Irreplaceable Friends comes and goes?

Did you ever had a friend who moved away to another state?  If you did, isn't that the worst thing that could happen in your life?!  I mean come on!  ugh. Well......unfortunately, it happened to me or else I wouldn't be blogging about it.  (sigh)  My friend, Markenzi, moved to Georgia during my senior year in high school.  I knew Markenzi my Sophmore year in Chemistry class but we were not that close.  We both had Physics together my senior year and we became GREAT friends along with Anna, another GREAT friend of mine.  All three of us had fun man!  Shoo! We were definitely the Three Musketeers!!!!!

This cake was given to Markenzi from the lunch ladies on her last day of being here in Milwaukee.
I remember that we would ALWAYS work on a lab together.  There was this one time where we had to move this table cloth without moving the plate, spoon, fork and a cup on top of it.  And we all had to be in a group and of course us 3 were in a group together.  I believe Markenzi was the 2 person to try it out before I did and she quickly pulled on the table cloth and the spoon came flying at her face!  Like the spoon literally did a back flip and hit her right in the face.  Luckily she wore glasses so her eyes didn't get stabbed.  She lucky it wasn't the fork! dannnnng.  hehe.  I will never forget her reaction when she got hit.  It was soooo damn funny!!!  I would tease her about it sometimes.  When we were building this roller coaster this one time, she was cutting up the board and pieces of the cardboard came flying at her face.  Of course I caught it happening.  LMAO!  Good times, man! Good tiiimes!!!!

I miss Markenzi!  She was a really good friend to hang out with.  I didn't really have a lot of friend that I could hang out with and not stop laughing compare to her.  Her humor is what I really like about her.  She's funny; she's awesome and I miss her.  =(
I think my senior would have been better if she was still there.  I know I know friends comes and goes but can that ONE particular friend be replace for their uniqueness?
I don't think I would find a friend as funny as her.  She's one of a kind and I will never forget her.  =)

Why not blog?.....when the world is going to end??

"A Trip to the Moon" 1902 By George Melies

Why not?  It is 2012.  Might as well start using this and TRY something new.  Right?  After all the world IS going to end!!! (Just Kidding) JKJKJKJKJKK! Don't be scare now.  (sigh) Usayd look what you've made me done!  What a great day to start the new year, eh?  BLoggin'
Honestly, I'm surprise I'm still alive!!!  I'm guessing the world will start to crumble LATER in the year.  Hopefully not around my birthday! =)  Well, lets say the world IS going to end with all Aliens flying down at us with their lasers or w/e they use as weapons to kill humankind and there's like GIANT ugly NASTY tornadoes everyhere across the Earth.  What are we going to do?  What would YOU do?  Prepare to fight? if you can.  Make a spaceship and fly off to the moon?  (dang I'm really bad at bloggin')  How about making a submarine and live underwater forever?  that's interesting.

Well for me,  I know there's no way out.  Not that I'm aware of.  Suicide is not the answer.  Repeat.  Suicide is not the answer.  SO I would gather all my Evanescence cds and my valuable possessions in a Box and have it with me at all times and listen to music as much as I can because it means a lot to me and you never know in the next life, I might become someone who doesn't love music at all.  (sad) ugh. I know.  uhhhh..yeah Imma do that, that's all I could think of right now.  =)

What are your thoughts?  What would YOU do?

SOng of the day:  "Fixed at zero." I have this song STUCK in my Heeaaaddd!!!!..................
